The Squad Pod is now a legit show! We’ve got segments! In episode 6, I debuted the GUTS Racing Vurbmoto Power Rankings.
This week I called up Vurbmoto owner and co-founder (and my second favorite Vurb employee) Brent Stallo to get his insight into the Vurbmoto Shred Tours. The next one is THIS weekend at Lincoln Trail in Casey, IL, for the Summer Slam. We also talked about what the future of Vurb is going to look like. I’ve known Brent for 14 years now and it was cool to finally hear his voice on a pod.
Next I called up Justin Rodbell who is about to return to racing after a torn achilles. He let me know about the year he’s had and we talked about his amateur career and of course “The Summer of Rodbell”.
Make sure to subscribe and listen to this show, the Vanilla Racing Broadcast, Winners Take Y’all and more.

Two-time Loretta Lynn’s champion Shawn Rife had a very successful amateur career with the support of Cernics, American Honda, and Fox Racing to name a few. The kid from Ohio was on the fast track to the pros before a couple big injuries set him behind in some crucial years. I caught up with Rife to get his take on his amateur career and what he’s doing now.

We are less than 10 days out from the opening round of the World Supercross Championship. Before the boys set sail for Birmingham, England, we sit down with multi time World Supercross Champion Chad Reed to discuss his new role and check in with SX Global CEO Adam Bailey to get his final thoughts on the new season.

The World Supercross Championship kicks off on July 1st and PMG Suzuki has Hunter Yoder ready to race the SX2 class. Yoder is also in the news as WE just announced that he will be joining the Troy Dog Squad ELITE Athlete Program effective immediately. I had to get “Yodog’s” take on all of the great things that he has going on in his life and to see what his goals and expectations are for the future. Yoder has a cool story and he didn’t really know if he wanted to race anymore at one point last year. Now he’s rejuvenated and ready to take on what’s next.
