This weeks show powered by Cycle Specialty and fueled by bad decisions, dehydrated meals, and questionable life choices, the boys from Winners Take Y’all got together this week to break down the upcoming Arizona adventure ride that’s somehow equal parts survival mission and motorcycle trip.
The crew is taking on the legendary Arizona Backcountry Discovery Route (AZBDR) — nearly 800 miles off-road starting near the Mexico border outside of Tucson and ending at the Utah border near Page, Arizona. Five days. Six riders. One goal: make it home with minimal emotional damage and at least half the bikes still running.
Bike lineup for the expedition:• 1 KTM 690• 1 Husky 701• 2 GasGas 700s• 2 Honda CRF300L Rallys
The KTM-based riders are embracing the rugged outdoor lifestyle and camping each night under the stars like true adventure influencers. Meanwhile, the Honda riders booked hotels every night because apparently “hard enduro” now includes continental breakfast and functioning air conditioning.
John is armed with a JetBoil burner and enough dehydrated food packets to survive a Category 4 hurricane. Outside of that, nutrition plans include gas station cuisine and whatever meals Nick can acquire after trading his body for home-cooked food somewhere in rural Arizona.
The guys also dove into route planning, bike setup, luggage systems, gear prep, fuel range concerns, survival equipment, and all the dumb ideas that somehow sound incredible once helmets are involved.
If you’re into motorcycles, adventure riding, camping, poor financial decisions, or listening to grown men confidently explain things they barely understand, this episode is for you.

This week, we welcomed Jason Thomas to the show! We went deep into his wild days of double-dipping back in the Supercross scene — when he raced both the 125 and 250 classes at most rounds. We hit all the classic “back in the day” stories, talked TV broadcast life, and even uncovered the truth about just how many pairs of shoes he trashes at muddy races. Call it hard-hitting journalism at its finest.
As always, swing by  and grab some gear to help us keep this party rolling.
We’ve also got big sponsor news — welcome to the crew, ! ClubMX trusts their seats, and you probably should too. More on that next episode.
Huge shoutout to  for making our site look killer — if your site needs a glow-up, hit up Buck and get it dialed.
And don’t forget, we’re running the  series — next round is at Barber, May 16–17. You should be there.
Much love to our bros over at  and .
Enjoy the show, ya filthy animals!

This week on Winner’s Take Y’all, we sat down with none other than Colt “Turbo”, “Sugar Boy” and possibly soon-to-be “Kickstart” Nichols (we’re still workshopping that one).
Colt came in candid, honest on where he’s at in his career right now. We got into the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Why he’s having more fun than ever, how perspective changes the game, and of course why “Kickstart Colt” might actually stick whether he likes it or not.
There were laughs. There were tears. There were moments that made absolutely no sense. In other words… a perfect WTY episode. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
If you’re digging what we’re doing, head over to www.winnerstakeyall.com and grab some merch—FREE SHIPPING on everything because we’re basically losing money to keep you looking good.
Big shoutout to the guy behind the curtain—our website looks dialed because of the pros at www.buckwilddigitalmarketing.com. If your site looks like it was built in 2006, go fix your life.

Three-time Chili Bowl champion Devin Simonson rolled into the award-winning Winner’s Take Y’all powered by Cycle Specialty and let’s just say… it delivered.
Devin didn’t shy away from it either. He owned the rough 65cc (10–11) days at Loretta’s back in 2013, then flipped the script and walked us through his career-best ride this past weekend in Nashville. But let’s be honest—the spotlight stayed on the hardware…
Three. Chili Bowl. Championships. Yeah… THREE. (And honestly, we’re not convinced that’s the final count.)
We laughed, we learned, and we got a peek into what makes the kid tick.
If you’re vibing with what we’re cooking, go load up—shirts, hoodies, hats, the whole deal—and shipping’s on us. Hit up Winners Take Y’all website to catch every episode and grab your gear.
Huge shoutout to our guy at Buck Wild Digital Marketing. That clean site you’re cruising? Yeah… that’s him. Go get your business dialed in.
And much love to the crew at Cooter Life Co. and Bromada for keeping this thing rolling.
And remember: Single to the table… is a double.

Last night on Winners Take Y’all, we welcomed Larry Brooks, team manager of the Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki team. Currently battling colon cancer and making strong progress toward recovery, Larry shared how he remains involved with the team remotely, staying updated throughout race days and offering input. He also reflected on his incredible career, including more than 50 motocross magazine covers, and discussed recent issues surrounding AMA penalties in Supercross.
Winners Take Y’all is powered by Cycle Specialty your one-stop shop for bikes, parts, gear, and everything in between. Hit them up at www.cyclespecialty.com and tell ’em we sent you.

Big thanks to our partners over at www.cooterco.com and www.bromadalife.com — we appreciate you boys backing the program.

Winners Take Y’all is back and rolling and powered by our presenting sponsor Cycle Specialty. If you’re looking for bikes, parts, gear, or just want to deal with people who actually get it, hit up cyclespecialty.com and tell ‘em we sent you.
This week we checked in with our guy—local hero, privateer grinder, and a man with a plan—Grant Hoffman. Big things brewing for Grant as he lines up for the Pro Motocross this summer and he’s got some serious support coming together to make it happen. We’re pumped to watch it unfold and proud to have him in the WTY corner.
We also had Drew Hopkins pull up to the studio, and if you don’t know the name, you probably should. Drew’s a full-blown suspension wizard who’s worked with heavy hitters like Star Racing and Triumph. Now he’s bringing that same elite-level setup to privateers and pros through Common Ground Suspension. If you’re trying to get dialed at the national level, this is the guy you call.
As always, huge shoutout to the crew at Buck Wild Digital Marketing for building our badass site. Head over to www.winnerstakeyall.com and grab some merch. Hoodies, tees, hats… whatever it takes to keep this thing on the rails.
We race with SEVMX—low pressure, high fun, and a damn good time. Check out the schedule at www.sevmx.com and come line up with us.
And big love to our partners over at www.cooterco.com and www.bromadalife.com. Go show ‘em some support.
Let’s go.

Friday Mar 13, 2026

Welcome back to Winners Take Y’all. The boys have been busy hitting the races — including the Daytona Supercross — and we’re fresh off a big weekend at Day In The Dirt.
John grabbed a class win, Nick brought home a 4th place (still no RV hook-up though), and Nick held down 69th place for three glorious laps during the Coup De Grace race before also snagging an Ironman award to cap off the weekend. A true grinder’s performance.
We also welcomed Ryan Sipes, who literally left Day In The Dirt at 6 am to go buy a bike so he could race later that same day. Racers race, folks. Ryan shared some great insight into riding and racing — if you want to learn from one of the best, check him out at motointelligence.com.
As always, please support the companies that support the show. Big thanks to our presenting sponsor cyclespecialty.com — hit them up and tell them WTY sent you.
Check out our brand new site winnerstakeyall.com, built by our guy Buck at buckwilddigitalmarketing.com, and grab some merch — shirts, hats, tees, hoodies, the whole deal.
We also want to point you toward sevmx.com if you’re looking to race your vintage or modern bike — they’ve got a class for everyone.
And of course much love to our friends at cooterco.com and bromadalife.com for backing the show.
Alright, that’s enough housekeeping. Enjoy the show, idiots.

Thursday Feb 26, 2026

Winners Take Y’all, powered by Cycle Specialty, welcomed the voice of the sport Jason Weigandt to break down the season so far. We dove into the 250 East, Hunter Lawrence’s breakthrough win, and of course the Red Light District fiasco.
We also caught up with the guy “responsible” for the lights (not really), who claims after blowing up 500 Tuff Blocks with his mouth before every race, he’s already exhausted by the time the gate drops. Sounds like a solid excuse to us.
Grab some merch at winnerstakeyall.com — hoodies, tees, hats, all the goods — and shoutout to Buck Wild Digital Marketing for the slick new site. Much love to SEVMX and our friends at Cooterco and Bromada for the support.
Hit winnerstakeyall.com for the latest episode and the full show catalog.

Thursday Feb 19, 2026

Winners Take Y’all, brought to you by CycleSpecialty.com, welcomed Jade Dungey, fresh off a win while wrenching for Eli Tomac. Jade gave us a behind-the-scenes look at life in the pits and stories from his stacked résumé working with Chase Sexton, AP, and more.
We kept the brainpower rolling with Jamie from Twisted Development, who joined us mid-road-trip chaos as he preps for Daytona SX, RCSX, and Spring A Ding, because nothing says race season like fixing a van on the side of the road.
Grab some merch at winnerstakeyall.com (hoodies, tees, hats, the whole deal) and shoutout to Buck Wild Digital Marketing for the killer site. Much love as always to SEVMX, plus our friends at Cooterco.com and Bromada.com.
Now hit play.

Friday Feb 13, 2026

On the latest episode of Winners Take Y'all, powered by CycleSpecialty.com, we had Rick Doughty from Motobilia on to break down the Chad Reed Mecum bike and why the vintage market’s getting spicy.
Then we caught up with Stew Baylor, calling in on his way to GNCC Round 1. We talked with Stew about running a training facility, stacking results in the woods, and now hiring Cody Groves as his wrench… which is still wild.
Shout-out to BuckWildDigitalMarketing.com for hooking up our website. Swing by and grab some merch — shirts, hats, hoodies, and yes… panties. Because apparently that’s a thing now. Everything Winner's Take Y'all can be found at www.winnerstakeyall.com
Cheers!
