The AMA Arenacross Championship presented by Kicker is quickly approaching! The series kicks off on November 15th in Reno, Nevada. One of the biggest storylines heading into the season is whether or not five-time series champion Kyle Peters will return to go for record breaking title number six.
So, what better way to kick off our AX coverage than to have the man on himself to clarify everything. We called KP up this week to catch up on his life since the season ended, his ideas to grow AX and where he'd like to see the series in 5-10 years, what his relationship with Ryan Breece is like after their battles last season, and we also get to the bottom of how much longer he wants to race, plus if he wants to race Monster Energy Supercross again.
Then we talked about what it was like for him when he signed an amateur to pro deal with Star Racing Yamaha and what it was like finishing second at the Indianapolis Supercross in 2013 on a full privateer ride.
This is an episode that you don't want to miss.

At this point you know who Iain Grae is. This is the fourth episode that he's joined us on the Vurbmoto Podcast Network and we always learn something new when he's on.
In this episode, Grae updates us on how his year has went at Cycle Ranch, what's new, what's to come, if he's happy with the progress he's made in the two years since he's brought the track back, and tells us about the events he has coming up.
Listen until the end because Troy Dog is curious on whether or not he should start meditating, so Iain takes it one step further and teaches us all how to do some breathing exercises. What can't this guy do?

It’s always a good conversation when Trey Canard is around. He’s actually one of those rare gems in the sport that remembers a ton from his awesome decade long career. If you mention a race to him he will at least have a few memories from that day.
At the 2025 Honda CRF450R Introduction at Ironman last month, Trey and I randomly had a conversation about 2013 Spring Creek, which was an epic battle between James Stewart and himself. That’s where I got the idea for this podcast. I picked a race (RedBud 2010) and I had Trey pick a race (Unadilla 2014) to talk about.
We also talked about going six for six at Loretta Lynn’s in 2006, what it was like racing Austin Stroupe and Nico Izzi, choosing GEICO Honda over Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki for his pro deal, and whether or not he ever wants to race a round of Pro Motocross ever again.

The lost episode! Kevin Kelly thought this episode was lost forever and so some of the bench racing is from after Budds Creek.

It doesn't matter you'll listen anyway. Listen until the end when we announce some new sponsors!

Jamie Ellis from Twisted Development was our guest on this weeks Winners Take Y'all and we laughed, we cried, discussed religion, and politics.  We solved all the world's problems so catch up and press play.

Our buddy Daniel Blair wears a ton of hats and usually has to carry all of them in his back pocket...but we'll get into that.
Blair joined the Squad Pod for the first time to talk about his many job duties as the Team Manager for the Orange Brigade, GasGas Mob, and Team Husqvarna. We also took a deep dive into the behind the scenes of why each of his amateur divisions went through a rebranding process right before Loretta Lynn's.
DB lays out the current and future goals for the Austrian Groups' amateur teams and what the process will look like as their riders come through the program on their way to the pro ranks.
We also chat about the upcoming Vurbmoto Classic at NXT LVL 101 coming up on September 13-15 in Gray Court South Carolina. DB says that everyone should race this event, so sign up now!
Special thanks to Blair Dog for making some time in his busy schedule to have some fun with the Vurb Crew.

Cliff Ahumada jumped in with us to talk about the Colorado 500 as John and Nick prepare to join him in a few weeks for what looks to be an incredible adventure ride.
Matt Walker also joined us to talk about flying to California and waiting for Mitch Payton at the front door of Pro Circuit to ask to ride for his team. His never take NO for an answer attitude served him well as a rider, training facility owner, and now race promoter. Throw some red gloves on in honor of the Stalker and let's go!
